Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – Product Overview
The bizhub C258 is a professional A3 full-colour multifunction printer.
Unlike a standard desktop printer, it is designed to act as a shared document-production system for multiple users.
Its primary capabilities include colour and black-and-white printing, copying and scanning. Fax functionality can also be added through compatible optional equipment.
Konica Minolta’s official specifications describe the C258 as a desktop full-colour A3 multifunction printer. It uses an embedded print controller and supports professional office print languages such as PCL 6, PostScript 3 emulation and XPS.
For businesses with moderate printing requirements, its 25 ppm engine can provide a useful balance between productivity and the capabilities of a larger A3 multifunction system.

Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – External Design
The external design of the Konica Minolta bizhub C258 is intended for shared professional office use.
The main machine measures approximately 615 mm wide × 685 mm deep × 779 mm high and weighs approximately 85 kg before considering various optional accessories.
Its body combines a dark professional finish with a large operation panel positioned at the upper front of the machine.
A key external feature is the 9-inch operation panel. Konica Minolta describes this panel as providing a user-friendly interface with hard menu keys combined with on-screen controls. Functions can be registered for quicker access to copying, scanning/faxing and document previews.
The upper section accommodates the scanner and, depending on configuration, an automatic document feeder.
The front and lower sections provide access to the paper trays and routine machine areas.
The bypass tray allows users to load selected alternative media without changing the main paper trays.
Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – External Design Benefits
The floor-standing configuration can be expanded with additional paper feeders and finishing equipment.
This modular approach means two C258 machines can look significantly different externally depending on their installed accessories.
A basic machine may occupy relatively little space, while a configuration with additional paper decks and a large finisher requires substantially more installation room.
When buying a refurbished C258, inspect the external body carefully.
Check the touchscreen, scanner glass, document feeder, hinges, bypass tray, main paper trays, doors, output areas and any finishing equipment.
Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – Internal Design
The internal design of the Konica Minolta bizhub C258 combines colour imaging, toner, transfer, fixing, paper-feed and electronic control systems.
Because the C258 is a colour device, its imaging process works with four primary printing colours:
Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (CMYK).
During printing, the imaging system creates the required colour information and toner is used to develop the image.
Transfer-related components then help transfer the image to the sheet.
The paper continues through the fixing or fusing section, where heat and pressure help permanently bond the toner to the media.
An internal paper-transport system moves sheets from the selected paper source through the printing engine and towards the output section.
The automatic duplex mechanism allows compatible sheets to be redirected through the machine for second-side printing.
Electronic components manage the print controller, networking, scanning, storage, user interface and machine operations.
Konica Minolta specifies 2 GB standard memory, expandable to 4 GB, and a 250 GB HDD for the C258 generation.
Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – Internal Components to Check
Internal condition is especially important when purchasing a refurbished machine.
Ask a qualified technician to inspect the imaging-related components, transfer system, fixing/fuser section, paper-feed rollers, duplex mechanism and toner system.
Print several colour test pages.
Look carefully for lines, colour inconsistencies, spots, repeated marks, background shading or registration problems.
A machine that looks excellent externally can still require internal maintenance, so technical inspection is an important part of buying a used C258.
Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – 25 PPM Printing Speed
The bizhub C258 delivers up to 25 pages per minute in both colour and black-and-white. bt.konicaminolta.in
This makes it appropriate for moderate-volume business environments where users need both professional colour output and everyday monochrome printing.
For example, an accounts department may primarily print black-and-white invoices and reports while marketing or administration departments occasionally require colour presentations.
Having both capabilities in one central machine can simplify office document workflows.
Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – Print Resolution
Print quality is another important consideration.
Konica Minolta specifies print resolution of 1,800 dpi equivalent × 600 dpi, with a 1,200 × 1,200 dpi mode also supported.
The printer supports PCL 6, PostScript 3 emulation and XPS.
These capabilities make the C258 suitable for professional office documents containing text, tables, charts, business graphics and images.
Actual output quality also depends on paper, toner, machine condition, print settings and the original digital file.
Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – A3 Colour Printing
One major reason businesses consider the C258 is its A3 capability.
Konica Minolta specifies a maximum original size of A3, with the system supporting various output formats including A3, A4, A5 and SRA3-related formats depending on the paper source
A3 colour printing can be useful for spreadsheets, charts, diagrams, presentations, educational material and selected promotional documents.
Businesses that need both A4 and A3 output therefore do not necessarily need separate printers for each size.
Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – Automatic Duplex Printing
Automatic duplex printing is supported by the C258.
This allows users to print on both sides of compatible paper without manually turning each sheet.
Two-sided printing is useful for reports, proposals, manuals, training material, contracts and other multi-page documents.
Konica Minolta specifies duplex support across a broad range of media sizes, with compatible paper weights from approximately 52 to 256 gsm.
For businesses producing substantial volumes, duplex printing can also help reduce paper usage.
Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – Scanning Features
Scanning is a major strength of a multifunction system.
The C258 supports colour and black-and-white scanning.
Konica Minolta’s datasheet lists scan destinations including Scan-to-Email, Scan-to-SMB, Scan-to-FTP, Scan-to-Box, Scan-to-USB, Scan-to-WebDAV and network TWAIN scanning.
With the appropriate optional DF-704 document feeder configuration, scan speed can reach up to 160 images per minute.
That can be particularly useful for organisations converting substantial quantities of paper records into digital documents.
Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – Paper Handling
Standard paper capacity consists of two 500-sheet trays plus a 150-sheet multipurpose bypass tray, giving approximately 1,150 sheets in the base configuration.
With suitable optional paper-handling equipment, maximum capacity can reach 6,650 sheets.
The main trays support paper weights up to 256 gsm, while the bypass tray supports media up to 300 gsm.
This flexibility is valuable when an office regularly switches between standard documents and heavier compatible media.
Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – Network Connectivity
The C258 supports shared network printing through 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T Ethernet.
USB connectivity is also available, while IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless networking was offered as an optional capability.
This makes the C258 suitable for multi-user network environments.
For a refurbished machine, have the network configuration checked before deployment, especially if the device previously belonged to another organisation.
Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – Mobile Connectivity
Konica Minolta specifically highlighted a mobile connectivity area as part of the enhanced control panel design of the C258 generation.
Mobile and wireless functionality can depend on installed options and network configuration.
Therefore, if mobile printing is an essential requirement, verify the exact machine configuration rather than assuming every refurbished C258 includes every wireless accessory.
Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – Paper Weight Support
Paper flexibility can matter for businesses that produce more than ordinary office documents.
The C258’s main trays support approximately 52–256 gsm, while the bypass tray supports approximately 60–300 gsm.
The bypass tray can also handle a broader selection of supported media.
For heavier paper or speciality media, always check Konica Minolta’s supported-media specifications and test the intended stock before running a large production job.
Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – Ideal for Corporate Offices
The C258 can be useful for corporate offices that require a central A3 colour printer, copier and scanner.
Departments can use it for reports, invoices, charts, presentations, quotations, contracts and general administrative paperwork.
Its network capabilities allow multiple authorised users to share the same device.
The 25 ppm output is better suited to moderate office workloads than extremely high-volume production environments.
Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – Ideal for Schools and Colleges
Educational institutions often need a combination of monochrome and colour documents.
The C258 can produce worksheets, notices, administrative documents, reports, presentations and educational material.
A3 support can also be useful for larger charts and classroom materials.
Scanning capabilities can help schools and colleges digitise records and distribute documents electronically.
Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – Ideal for Businesses
The machine can also suit SMEs, professional offices, hospitals, institutions, retail administration teams and other workplaces that need shared A3 colour document capabilities.
However, the correct printer should always be selected based on actual monthly print volume, paper requirements and workflow.
A business that prints almost exclusively A4 documents at low volumes may not need a large A3 multifunction printer.
Konica Minolta Bizhub C258 Price in India – Refurbished Buying Guide
If you are purchasing a refurbished C258, do not judge the machine only by appearance.
Ask for the total colour and black-and-white meter readings.
Request colour and monochrome print samples.
Test A4 and A3 printing.
Run an automatic duplex print job.
Scan a multi-page document through the feeder.
Test each installed paper tray.
Check the touchscreen response.
Test network printing and scanning.
If a finisher is included, test its functions as well.
Finally, ask exactly what warranty, installation and after-sales support are included with the quoted price.
